VXT Moto Emoto Guide

Parts that fit Tuttio, Surron, Talaria, and the rest of the paddock. USA shop. No mystery listings.

Who we are

VXT Moto is USA-owned and run out of Brooklyn. We sell performance parts and kits for real e-motos — Tuttio, Surron, Talaria, E-Ride Pro, Razor, Ridstar, Ebox, Yozma — not random Amazon junk with a logo on it. Goal is simple: parts that fit, ship fast, and hold up.

What we sell

Brakes

Upgraded calipers, pads, and full brake kits that actually stop an e-moto.

Throttles

Responsive throttle upgrades. Some are not plug-and-play on a stock harness — read the listing.

Drive kits

Chains, sprockets, and complete drive conversions for more pull.

Tires

Knobby tires and tubes for real dirt. Sets ship slower than small parts.

Batteries & chargers

Batteries and fast chargers. Match voltage and Ah — don't guess.

Street / signal kits

Turn signal and street kits that help you get seen.

Hardware

Peg mounts and titanium hardware that won't round off.

Merch

VoltX tees and keychains. V2 clothing drop soon.

Shop by bike

How to order without messing it up

  1. 1Pick your bike brand
  2. 2Read the italic warnings on the listing
  3. 3Choose variant (color, size, used vs new)
  4. 4Use a real shipping name
  5. 5Watch email for tracking
  6. 6Email before you install anything that's damaged

Heads up: some throttles are not plug-and-play on a stock harness. Used parts are always labeled USED with the condition in the listing.

FAQ

First upgrade by budget

Under $50

Titanium peg bolts, keychain, small hardware. Looks cleaner, not a performance jump.

$50–$150

Throttle, drive kit, single-end brake, charger. This is where the bike starts feeling less stock.

$150–$300

Full brake set, street/signal kit, tire set. Biggest “this is a different bike” range.

$300+

Battery / used battery + charger. Read the listing twice. Voltage and condition matter more than the discount.

What to buy first by bike

  • Tuttio: brakes → charger → tires → throttle → drive kit.
  • Surron LBX: brakes → throttle → signal kit.
  • Talaria MX3/MX4: confirm the exact model first → charger or signal kit.
  • Unknown rebadge: do not guess. Photo the motor plate, controller plug, and brake mounts, then email.

Fitment rules

  • Title bike name beats a forum comment.
  • “Surron throttle” ≠ “Tuttio throttle.”
  • “Not plug and play for the stock harness” means wiring work. Budget time.
  • Used batteries: miles + condition are part of the product. Not a defect.
  • Tire sets are sold as a pair with tubes unless the page says otherwise.
  • Signal kits help you get seen. They do not make the bike street-legal in every state.

Common mistakes

  • Ordering the night before a weekend and expecting tires Friday
  • Buying a throttle, ignoring the stock-harness warning
  • Mixing MX3 and MX4 kits
  • Installing a bent or scuffed part, then asking for a refund
  • Assuming pickup in Brooklyn without texting first
  • Matching a cheaper listing that is used, incomplete, or a different connector

Used vs new

Used is marked USED in the title on purpose. Expect honest wear. Miles and notes are the listing. New parts should arrive in sellable condition — photo anything that doesn’t.

Shipping, the real version

  • Most small parts: 1–3 business days to leave Brooklyn
  • Same-day: select orders, not a promise on every SKU
  • Tires / bulky: longer, often 5–9 days when the page says so
  • Weather, carriers, and wrong addresses add time
  • Tracking hits email. If it hasn’t after the window, email the order number
  • International: checkout decides. If rates look empty, send city + product link

How to email support so you get an answer

Send all of this in one message:

  • Order number
  • Product URL
  • Bike year/model (Tuttio Soleil, Surron LBX, Talaria MX4, etc.)
  • What you already tried
  • Photos: part, connector, mount, and the box if it arrived damaged

Subject line examples: LBX throttle plug question or Order #1234 damaged rotor

Returns, without the essay

Contact us first. Don’t ghost-ship a package. Used and electrical can be tighter. Installed, crashed, or modified parts are a different conversation than “wrong size tee.”

Street, legal, and insurance

Lights and signals are visibility upgrades. Registration, insurance, and local laws are on the rider. We don’t sell a “legal in all 50 states” sticker because that sticker would be a lie.

Clothing and merch

VoltX tees and keychains are on the shop. V2 clothing drop soon — don’t list fake drop dates. Sizes are on the product page. Wash cold, don’t cook the print.

Rewards

The store has a rewards button. Points and rules live in that widget. If points didn’t apply, email the order number — don’t fight the checkout popup in a one-star review.

Visual bike builder

voltxshop.store/pages/build-your-bike-visually is the on-site loadout wheel for browsing parts visually. It is a theme feature, not this info page. Keep them separate.

What we don’t do

  • Custom one-off fab from a voice note
  • Guaranteeing a clone bike is “the same as a Surron”
  • Price-matching a listing that’s a different spec
  • Walk-in retail hours unless we confirm
  • Inventing fitment for a bike we’ve never seen

Pre-ride checklist after you install

  • Bolts tight, especially calipers, axle, and pegs
  • Brake lever firm before you roll
  • Throttle snaps back
  • Chain tension not guitar-string, not sloppy
  • Tire direction arrows forward
  • Lights / signals aimed, not into the sky
  • First ride around the block, not a 40-mile blast

Gift orders

Use the recipient’s real address. Put “gift” in the checkout note if you don’t want a pricing receipt in the box. Electrical and used parts are bad surprise gifts unless the rider asked for that exact SKU.

Wholesale / collabs

Serious volume or merch collabs: email support@voltxshop.com with what you sell and quantity. Instagram DMs are not a purchase order.

Extra FAQs

Pull quotes

“If the title doesn’t say your bike, it isn’t your part.”
“Read the italics. That’s the part that saves the return.”
“Tires are not 2-day parts.”
“Photo it before you install it.”
“USA shop. Brooklyn. Real inbox.”

Why the bike feels cheap stock

Most of these platforms leave the factory with okay motors and mid parts around them. That’s why riders usually feel:

  • Brakes that fade after a few hard stops
  • Charging that kills the evening
  • A throttle that’s either on/off or gritty
  • A chain/sprocket that gets loud fast
  • Tires that look aggressive and still slide on paint and metal plates

Upgrades are not “more stickers.” They fix the parts you use every ride.

What we optimize for

  1. Fitment first
  2. Time-to-ship second
  3. Looks third

A pretty part that doesn’t bolt on is still a return.

Connector / plug check (send this photo set)

If you’re unsure, take 4 photos:

  1. Full bike, side
  2. Close-up of the plug on the bike
  3. Close-up of the mount (brake, peg, throttle housing)
  4. The product page screenshot you’re looking at

Text the bike name in the same email. “E-moto” is not a model.

Battery sense

  • Voltage has to match. 48V is not “close enough” to something else.
  • Ah is runtime, not speed.
  • Used packs: miles and notes matter more than the discount.
  • Don’t leave a damaged pack on a charger “to see.”
  • If the pack is swollen, stop. Email. Don’t ride it.

Charger sense

  • Use the charger sold for that pack when the listing says so
  • A fan + cutoff is a feature, not decoration
  • Charge on hard floor, not under a pile of hoodies
  • Unplug when it’s done if you’re not home to watch it

Brake sense

  • New pads need a few careful stops to bed
  • A spongy lever after install usually means air, not a “bad part”
  • Don’t touch rotor faces with bare dirty hands
  • Front and rear are different parts even if they look related

Throttle sense

  • Snap-back should be instant. If it sticks, don’t ride
  • If the listing says not plug-and-play on stock harness, believe it
  • After install: key on, wheel off the ground, twist slow before you drop it

Chain and sprocket

  • A smaller sprocket can raise top speed and change how the bike pulls
  • New chain + old worn sprocket eats the new chain
  • Too tight = bearings cry. Too loose = slap and skip
  • Check after the first 20–30 minutes. New kits settle.

Tires and tubes

  • Direction arrows face forward
  • Seat the bead before you air it to the moon
  • Tubes fold and pinch if you rush
  • Knobbies on only-street use wear in a weird square. That’s normal, not a defect
  • Don’t order tires as a “it’ll be here tomorrow” part

Hardware and pegs

  • Titanium is for weight and look, not magic horsepower
  • Blue locker on bolts that like to back out
  • Peg mounts: confirm Tuttio vs whatever clone bracket you actually have

Weather (NY / East Coast reality)

  • Rain: lights help, knobbies help less than people think on wet metal
  • Winter storage: charge the pack, don’t leave it at 0% in a frozen garage
  • Salt and slush eat cheap hardware. Rinse the bike.
  • We ship through winter. Carriers don’t care about your weekend plan.

What “in stock” means

  • In stock = we can sell it now.
  • Sold out = gone.
  • A screenshot from yesterday is not inventory.

Order timeline

  1. You checkout
  2. We see the order
  3. It packs
  4. It ships (usually 1–3 business days)
  5. Tracking hits email
  6. Carrier has it

Email us at step 4–5 if it went quiet. Emailing 20 minutes after checkout asking “where is it” just sits in the pile.

Damaged / missing / wrong item

Same-day photos. Order number. Which SKU. Wrong color tee ≠ crashed brake rotor. We’ll treat them differently because they are different.

Chargebacks

Talk to us first. A chargeback on a shipped, delivered, correct part is how shops stop being nice. If we messed up, we fix it.

Selling your own used parts through us

Not a consignment shop by default. If you’ve got a clean pack or takeoff set, email photos. No “running when parked.”

Building a cart that isn’t stupid

Good cart: brakes + pads you need + hardware. Bad cart: 4 throttles “to see which fits,” then a return on 3.

For parents buying this

These are electric dirt bikes / pit-bike-class machines, not a mall scooter. Confirm the kid’s actual bike model. Don’t gift a Talaria kit to a Tuttio.

For first-time e-moto owners

  • Learn the power cutoffs
  • Full-face helmet
  • The first upgrade should make it stop and charge better, not only look louder
  • Groups and trails have rules. Stock or not, you still hit trees the same

Content / filming

Want to film an install for TikTok with the product? Fine. Tag the shop. Don’t claim we “sponsored” it unless we did.

What the product photos are

Listing photos show the part. Lighting and anodizing shift on camera. If color is the whole reason you’re buying, say that in the order note.

Names on the site

  • VoltX and VXT Moto are the same company.
  • voltxshop.store is the store.
  • Other “VoltX / Voltz” shops on the internet (solar, scooters, other cities) are not us.

Languages / money

Site is USD and English. Checkout shows conversion if Shopify offers it. The price on the product page in USD is the real price.

Privacy-level obvious stuff

We need a shipping address to ship. We don’t need your life story. Don’t send a photo of your license unless a carrier form actually asks.

More FAQs

International shipping

VoltX ships from the USA (Brooklyn, New York). International orders are possible when checkout offers your country.

How to know if we ship to you

  1. Add the part to cart
  2. Go to checkout
  3. Enter your country and city/postal code
  4. If a rate appears, we can ship it
  5. If no rate appears, email support@voltxshop.com with the product link, city, and postal code

What to expect

  • You pay the international rate shown at checkout (postage + any carrier handling)
  • Delivery is slower than USPS/UPS domestic. Plan in weeks, not two days
  • Tires, batteries, and chargers can be restricted. Some countries block lithium packs or limit them to certain carriers. If a battery won’t ship, that’s a carrier rule, not us hiding the part
  • Tracking works until it hits your local post. After that, tracking can go quiet. That’s normal on cross-border
  • We ship the order. We do not control customs

Customs, duties, VAT, brokerage

  • Those are charged by your country, not by VoltX
  • They often show up as a separate bill from the carrier before delivery
  • We cannot mark a package as “gift” to dodge duty
  • We cannot write a fake value on the label
  • If customs holds it, reply to their notice. We can resend docs; we can’t clear it for you from Brooklyn

Address rules that save the package

  • Use the name on your building / local ID
  • Include apartment, floor, and a working phone with country code
  • Don’t use a US freight-forwarder address unless you understand they become the importer
  • PO boxes fail a lot on international carriers. Use a deliverable street address

If something goes wrong overseas

  • Photo the box and the part before you throw packaging away
  • Send order number + tracking + photos
  • Lost after “delivered to overseas facility” needs extra time before we call it gone
  • Refused packages / “does not want to pay duty” are not automatic refunds. We have to see if the part actually comes back

Fast version

US shipping = 1–3 business days to leave us, then domestic transit.

International = still 1–3 business days to leave us, then a longer flight + customs. Checkout price is postage. Duty is extra and on you.
